About this work

Depiction of the sixth petition of the Our Father prayer. Men pray towards heaven, where God the Father looks down from a cloud upon the earth. Beside Him, angels hold among others the cross of faith and the pillar of steadfastness. The people resist the temptations of money, lust, and ambition, the vices personified by women to their right. The print is part of an album.
