About this work
A Canaanite woman who had first followed Christ inside, throws herself before Christ and begs him to heal her daughter, who is tormented by a demon. His disciples ask Christ to send the woman away. Initially he deems the woman not worthy of a glance, but after he is convinced of her faith he heals her daughter and the demon disappears. Letters are placed at various elements of the representation. The print is part of an album.
