About this work
In the center, people have gathered around a peep show with a harlequin on top. To the left of it stands a song singer who points with a pointer stick at prints pasted on a roll between sticks. Next to him stands a woman, who is probably selling songs. To the right, people dance to the music of a barrel organ and a trumpet.
