About this work

Behind the table of a farmhouse stands a traveling print dealer. He shows his wares to a woman with a child on her arm and a seated old woman. To the right, two children fight over a print. Below the image the coat of arms of Louis Rolland de Trémeville, lord of Villarceaux.
