About this work

On a podium in a square, a man with a snake around his neck points his stick at a print behind him depicting snakes, toads, and crocodiles. Hanging from his arm, and that of his colleague to the left, are amulets or ampoules. This likely concerns quacks trying to sell miracle cures.
