About this work

Statue of a bacchante, dressed in classical robes, standing with her arms raised and holding a bunch of grapes in her left hand. Her left elbow rests on a tree trunk wrapped with vine leaves, grape clusters, and a snake. On the base the coat of arms of Vincenzo Giustiniani. The print is part of an album with a series of prints after the sculptures in the collection in the Galleria Giustiniani in Rome.
