About this work

Walled inner courtyard with a maze. In the center, a pavilion with a fountain. Young people amuse themselves in the maze: they play music, walk, or practice sword fighting. In the foreground, angels lead young men to a house where various arts are practiced, such as sculpture and painting. The house is built in the Corinthian order. In the margin, a four-line text in two columns in Latin. The print is part of an album.
