About this work
The young Jupiter is fed by the nymph Amalthea. Jupiter drinks goat's milk from a horn. In the middle below, the coat of arms of Vincenzo Giustiniani, who owned this bas-relief. The print is part of an album with a series of prints after the sculptures in the collection of the Galleria Giustiniani in Rome.
