About this work

A sculpture of the god Mithras with a bunch of grapes. Two smaller men stand beside him, both wearing Phrygian caps and holding a torch. Weapons lie near the large figure. On the underside of the sculpture, the coat of arms of Vincenzo Giustiniani. The print is part of an album with a series of prints after the sculptures in the collection of the Galleria Giustiniani in Rome.
