About this work
Bas-relief depicting a wedding ceremony. A man and a woman hold each other's right hands. Between them, a figure marrying them. Perhaps the marriage god Hymenaeus. At the top, two putti with a wreath. In the center below on the relief, the coat of arms of Vincenzo Giustiniani. The print is part of an album with a series of prints after the sculptures in the collection in the Galleria Giustiniani in Rome.
