Yuranosuke with the dagger with which his master committed suicide. His son Rikiya lights the way for him with a lantern. In the background, 47 samurai, acting on Yuranosuke's orders, storm the castle of his enemy. Scene from a kabuki play. Poem by Dainagon Kintô.
