About this work

Album with 86 etchings and engravings and three drawings on 70 sheets. The album begins with five blank sheets and ends with seven blank sheets. The album thus contains a total of 82 sheets. The album mainly contains prints from the print corpus 'Speculum Romanae Magnificentiae' and prints from the series 'Antiquae Urbis Splendor' by Giacomo Lauro. It is a fictitious album, meaning: an album compiled by a collector or owner of the prints. A half-leather binding covered with imitation marbled endpaper.
