About this work

A flower cup with a bearded man. He wears a pointed hat and holds a flower stem. The representation is a fragment of the genealogy of Christ in the Liber Chronicarum. The text identifies the man as Sobab, a son of King David born in Jerusalem (2 Sam. 5: 14-16). The print is part of an album.
