About this work
Christ hangs on the cross. An angel catches his blood in a chalice. In the upper right, God the Father with some angels. In front of the cross stand John the Evangelist and Mary. Mary Magdalene holds the cross. Around the scene, an ornamental border with the instruments of the Passion. Above, a cartouche with a one-line text in Latin from John 1. Below, a cartouche with a four-line text in Latin from John 11. This print is part of an album.
