About this work
During a procession a carriage is attacked by the crowd due to the suspicion that reformers are inside, Paris, 1671. Inside the carriage are actually the Catholic councilor Du May (Dumay) and his wife. They are dragged out of the carriage and mistreated. Print marked top right: Fourth Part Fol. 117.
