A French Catholic church is plundered by the troops of Louis XIV, where valuables are seized to fill the state treasury. In the subtitle two verses in French and an inscription in Dutch. Part of a group of separate satirical prints on Louis XIV during the War of the Spanish Succession, ca. 1701-1713.
