About this work
View of one of the three identical Amsterdam city gates. Probably the Utrecht Gate, given the presence of the horse-drawn carriage at the front left. Near the carriage a man with a dog and a horse. Two riders on the road in the foreground and a fishing boat in the canal. At the top (partially cut off) an unreadable page reference.
