Christ flees from the Jews who wish to crown him. Contrast on the use of power. Mirror-image copy of the print by Lucas Cranach in the pamphlet 'Passional Christi und Antichristi' by Martin Luther from 1521, page 598 from a 17th-century edition. In the series of 13 pairs, the example of Christ is contrasted in two depictions with the behaviour of the Pope.
