About this work

View of the northeastern side of the Oude Mannen- en Vrouwenhuis in Amsterdam, seen from the southwest. As it appeared after the renovation of 1754-1757. Although women did reside in this old people's home, this building, now known as the Oudemanhuispoort, was better known as the Oudemannenhuis. Various figures on the courtyard. Below the image the title and dedication in Dutch and French, with the coat of arms of Joachim Rendorp in the center.
