About this work
On the field of Boaz, Ruth gathers the ears of grain left by the reapers. Seated under a canopy with his dogs, Boaz looks on. At the bottom of the margin a reference to the Biblical text and the title in Hebrew, English, German, Latin, French, and Dutch.
