About this work

Two ornate fireplaces. Left with a vase, masks, garlands, two sphinxes, and a fireback with mermaids. Right with a medallion containing Venus and Amor, a caryatid, a vase, and a fireback. The fireplaces flank a panel with interlacing, a caryatid, and a table with tableware. Print forms part of an album. Most likely a mirrored copy after a French original.
