The diligent apprentice Goodchild attends church service in St. Martin-in-the-Fields, together with his master's daughter. Below the image a cartouche with a text from Psalms. Part of a series of twelve plates on the rise and fall of two apprentices, Francis Goodchild and Thomas Idle, after the original plates by William Hogarth from 1747.
