These are almost all the illustrations from the book, with the exception of some title heads or closing vignettes (if this was the only illustration on that page). The illustrations are all printed in the text after pen drawings. These illustrations marked the beginning of the 'Cranford School' of illustration. The illustrations usually depict one or more figures.
