About this work
Two women hold a wreath. They stand on either side of an image of a hand grasping a bunch of grapes, a so-called "freedom coat of arms." A tortoise, symbol of modesty, in the lower right, and a chameleon, symbol of shame, in the lower left. At the top, a putto holding a scroll.
