In a theater with European leaders as the audience, the Ethiopian Emperor Menelik II defeats his Italian opponent (Umberto I?) in a wrestling match, following the Ethiopian victory at the Battle of Adwa on March 1, 1896, during the First Italo-Ethiopian War.
