About this work
The Dutch Maiden visits mother Kuyper after childbirth. On her question whether the mother breastfeeds the child, the midwife Lohman answers that the mother is too flat for that and that everything must be with a bottle. The Dutch Maiden finds the child (the Overijssel Emergency Act) quite puny.
