About this work

Children of striking Antwerp socialists during the General Strike in Belgium depart for the Netherlands and find temporary shelter with party members in Dordrecht. Just as the Israelites under Moses crossed the Red Sea, these children march across the dried-up Hollands Diep towards Dordrecht.
