About this work
On the battlefield, the 'men-brothers', the anti-revolutionaries, sleep before the start of the battle, the June 1913 Second Chamber elections. Lying in the grass, they dream of the glory of their predecessors, a heavenly army armed with the flag of the anti-revolutionary daily De Standaard leading the attack. Pastiche on the painting 'Le Rêve' by Édouard Detaille.
