About this work
Two pages that originally contained two mounted and labeled (759-511) diamond-shaped samples of decorated moldings, likely of gilt metal foil, on the right. Both samples are missing. On the opposite left page, a table with handwritten corresponding specifications (in code) for each ornament. Part of the sample book donated by the Van Rijn ladies, presumably from a French manufacturer of luxury papers or its representative in the Netherlands, ca. 1830.
