About this work

A shepherd lies on the ground. In the background two soldiers depart hastily. One has drawn his sword. With a two-line verse in Latin in the lower margin. Print from an album with a series of 16 bound prints with pastoral scenes. It concerns the series titled: Otia delectant faciuntq [...]. Calfskin binding with inscription and decorative frame lines in pen in brown. Four flyleaves of vellum at the front and back.
