About this work
Emperor Wilhelm II has a vision of Frederick III of Prussia. Frederick III holds his diary in his right hand. With his left hand he holds up the proclamation 'An mein Volk', written by his grandfather Frederick William III of Prussia. At the bottom a verse from Shakespeare's Hamlet.
