About this work
Top left a historical map of the Netherlands in Roman times, with title cartouche bottom left and degree division along the edges. Next to it are five prints with corresponding titles and texts. These depict scenes concerning the customs, sacrifices, weapons, and living habits of the Germans who inhabited the old Netherlands. On the verso Latin text in book type, title: Veterum Belgarum mores.
