About this work

The relief of Leiden on 3 October 1574. Troops of the Prince sail over the flooded polders of Delft along The Hague to Leiden, under the command of Admiral Louis de Boisot. Spanish besiegers flee from their positions. Margin with caption and number cut off. Printed on the back with text in Latin. Accompanied by a small sheet with a description of the subject of the representation in handwriting.
