About this work

Map of a part of South Holland around the Biesbos. The title cartouche is at the bottom left, with the coat of arms of Holland above it. Putti and several figures, including a river god, surround it. To the right of the title cartouche, in the water, a cartouche with two scale bars: Een Hollandtsche myle van 2000 Rhynlandtsche roeden; Een France myle ofte een uure gaens. Degree divisions along the edges. Orientation: north to the right.
