Map of the Frisian regions in present-day Netherlands and Germany in Roman times. Cartouche with title in the upper left corner, surrounded by a man with a sword, the Dutch Maiden with a spear bearing a liberty cap, and Hercules defeating a blindfolded man. Scale bar below the cartouche: Quincunx gradus. Degree markings along the left and right edges. Text strips in book type on the left and right of the print, containing the Dutch translation of the title (upper left) and terms used on the map.
