About this work

Family chapel of the De Graeff-Hooft family in the Old Church in Amsterdam. This former baptismal chapel was purchased and furnished as a family grave in 1648 by Cornelis de Graeff (married to Catharina Hooft in 1635). Above left of the center and left of the left pillar the coat of arms of the De Graeff family. Above right of the center and right of the right pillar the coat of arms of the Hooft family.
