Winter view on the Singel, in front of the Old Lutheran Church in Amsterdam. Behind the lock the Boerenverdriet, towards the Spui, people are skating. In the Singel men are chopping and sawing the ice open for a towboat. On the street a number of onlookers and a sled. Below the image the title in Dutch and French. Numbered 60 in the upper right.
