About this work

View of the Great Synagogue of the German congregation on the corner of the Deventer Houtmarkt, the current Jonas Daniël Meijerplein, and the Nieuwe Amstelstraat in Amsterdam. In the two small houses with stepped gables on the Nieuwe Amstelstraat (right) the Dritt Sjoel was located from 1700.
