About this work
Bird's-eye view and view of the Convent of St. Catherine between the Oudezijds Voorburgwal and Achterburgwal in Amsterdam, as it appeared around 1544. In the center at the top an empty cartouche. Presumably this convent fell under the jurisdiction of the Convent of St. Margaret and was therefore sometimes also called by that name.
