View of the blazing fire in the Amsterdam Schouwburg on 11 May 1772, seen from the opposite side of the Keizersgracht. The fire brigade is preparing fire pumps. Chests and trunks are being carried out of the theater. Below the image the title and a two-line verse in Dutch (left) and French (right).
