View of the Diaconieweeshuis on Vlooienburg, opened in 1657, at the corner of the Binnen-Amstel and the Zwanenburgerstraat, Amsterdam. Intended for orphans of the Dutch Reformed (later Reformed) church whose parents were not burghers.
