View of the Willige Rasphuis on the IJgracht (current Prins Hendrikkade) in Amsterdam. In the background on the left the Oosterkerk. In 1782 the prisoners of this institution were moved to the new Spin- en Nieuwe Werkhuis on the Weesperveld. From 1785 the building on the IJgracht was used as a Maritime School. Below the image the title in Dutch and French. Numbered in the upper right: 34.
