About this work

Allegorical representation with the personification of the Society on a pedestal decorated with garlands. Around the figure various allegorical figures bringing her gifts. One of them offers her a wreath of flowers. Children dance in a circle before the pedestal. In the left foreground Love. One of the children reaches for the fruits from the cornucopia (the child is already picking the fruits of the foundation of the Society). With the text: 'Memorial of the twenty-fifth anniversary of the Society for the Benefit of the General Public'.
