About this work

Torture and execution of the Anabaptists on the scaffold in front of the old town hall on the Dam in Amsterdam, 28 July 1535. Judges look out from the windows of the town hall; a large crowd on the Dam. Below the scaffold, the mutilated bodies of those already executed. Without the verse. Print cut from the book, with text on the verso.
