Gunpowder explosion and fire in the Lieve-Vrouwekapel in Amersfoort, 2 August 1787. The church is destroyed, only the tower, the Onze-Lieve-Vrouwetoren or Lange Jan, remains standing. Marked at the top: XVIII.D.Pl.X.
