About this work

Plan of the country estate Vredenburg in the Beemster. This estate was completed in 1647 and was designed by architect Pieter Jansz. Post for merchant Frederik Alewijn. Along the top the title. On the left a legend. Along the bottom two scale bars: Rhinland measure of 20 rods or 240 feet; Amsterdam measure of 240 feet.
