About this work

Charles V enters Rome with his army. He sits on a horse and points with his baton towards the city. Next to him soldiers are dressing. In the background the troops are already entering the city. With an inscription of four lines in Latin. This print is part of a series of eight prints, each depicting a triumph of Charles V.
