About this work
St. Elizabeth of Hungary. She wears a nun's habit of the Franciscan order and has a crown on her head, as a reference to her royal origin. She has a book and a crown in her left hand. With her right hand she gives an alms to a beggar. The print has a Latin inscription in a cartouche and a dedication.
