Overview of the siege of the city of Haarlem with the surrounding area in bird's-eye perspective. In the foreground the camp of the Spanish troops at the Huis ter Kleef. Top left the coat of arms of Holland, top right the coat of arms of Haarlem. Bottom left a cartouche held up by a young man with the legend 1-21, A-B and a-b in Dutch. Top a banner with the title and the coats of arms of Holland and Haarlem. With subtitle of three verses of four lines each in Dutch: 'See how the Spaniards here distress the Haarlemmers!' [...].
