About this work

Judith with the head of Holofernes in her hand. The sword with which she cut off the head is clamped under her arm. In the background it is visible how Judith cuts off the head of the army commander Holofernes in his tent. Her maid stands in front of the tent and keeps watch. In oval with Latin border text by Theodorus Schrevelius.
